Begin From Within

Therapy isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about discovering a different way of relating to the person you already are.

Depth-Oriented

At times of change, or when experience begins to feel layered or difficult to make sense of, more can rise to the surface than expected…

Sometimes what is happening internally does not organize itself in a clear or linear way. Thoughts, emotions, and past experiences can overlap or surface in ways that feel difficult to track or understand.

Rather than trying to simplify or move past this, the work becomes paying attention to what is already present. Over time, patterns begin to take shape, and what once felt diffuse or overwhelming can become more understandable and workable.

This is not a quick process. It is a slower, more thoughtful way of working that allows for depth, complexity, and change that can actually hold over time.

Not Sure where to begin?

A Place to Begin℠ is a brief guided tool designed to help you notice some of the themes that may be present right now. It can help you explore what may be changing, what feels most present, and what might be asking for attention.

Who this work is for

People often come to this work during or after:

· Life transitions such as career changes, relocation, loss, major decisions · Grief and loss, including the slow grief of caregiving or watching someone change · Chronic stress, burnout, or long-term caretaking · Anxiety or emotional patterns that feel hard to shift · Relationship difficulty with others, or with oneself · Experiences that don't fit neatly into a diagnosis

Individual Sessions

A space for deeper exploration of patterns, emotions, and internal experience. This work is often less about quick solutions and more about understanding what is unfolding.

Couples Therapy

For relationships where something is shifting or not fully understood. The focus is on making sense of what is happening between you, which naturally results in things feeling "fixed" or better.

"In my early professional years, I was asking the question: How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth? ... It seems to me that the good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination."
